The Ryman's FAQ says several hotels are within walking distance, and The Hermitage Hotel's FAQ gives an 8-minute walk to the Ryman. No other downtown hotel in this guide publishes a walk time; their distances, about 0.3 to 0.7 km, are in a straight line. The entrance is on the Fourth Avenue side of the building.

Gaylord Opryland's Downtown Shuttle runs Friday and Saturday only; its last return leaves the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum stop at 10:30 p.m.

Bags

Oversized bags and backpacks aren't allowed, and no maximum bag size is published. Also prohibited: all weapons, including pocket knives; outside food and drink, cans, bottles and alcohol; drugs; laser pens; utility tools; masks and face paint; laptops and tablets; musical instruments, except during Make A Record; video cameras, monopods, tripods and selfie sticks; audio recorders, unless special permission is granted or taper tickets are offered; and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses. All guests are subject to security screening.

Airport bus to downtown

WeGo Public Transit's Route 18 runs from the BNA Ground Transportation Center (Level 1, Terminal 2 Garage) to the Elizabeth Duff Transit Center at WeGo Central, 400 Dr. M.L.K. Jr Blvd, for $2 each way: about 20 minutes as an express trip, or 35–45 minutes on a local trip, depending on traffic. No WeGo route or stop at the Ryman is published, so confirm routes and schedules with WeGo before you rely on it.

Gaylord Opryland's Downtown Shuttle

Staying at Gaylord Opryland? Its Downtown Shuttle runs Friday and Saturday only, from the resort's Cascades Transportation Depot at the top of the hour, 12 p.m.–10 p.m., to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, about 0.4 km from the Ryman in a straight line. Returns leave there at the bottom of the hour, 12:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. It's $15 one way or $28 round trip, run by the hotel rather than the Ryman, and no walking route from the drop-off to the Ryman is published.

Buying tickets

Buy in person at the AXS Box Office at the Ryman or the Opry House Box Office, on ryman.com's event pages, or by phone at (615) 889-3060. The Ryman can't guarantee tickets from any other source, has a no-refund, no-exchange policy, and can't replace lost or stolen tickets. Tickets can generally be transferred in the AXS app.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available for every public event, on the Main Floor and in the Balcony, and one companion seat may be bought alongside an accessible seat. Wheelchairs and wheelchair storage are available, and all restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
