How we choose places

We research actual hotels, neighborhoods, restaurants and official travel information. Our recommendations explain the tradeoffs of a stay and the trip to the venue and back. A recommendation is not a reservation, a guarantee of availability, or a promise about show-day traffic.

Links and commissions

Some links may earn us a commission when you book or buy, at no additional cost to you. Today those are hotel room searches on Booking.com and Expedia. We choose and order hotels before we know which ones a partner lists, and a hotel without a partner listing stays in the guide. Affiliate offers are identified where they appear. Links labeled “Hotel website” or “Official information” go to that business’s own site. Preview testing does not generate affiliate attribution.

Before you book

Confirm your show details and choose your own check-in and checkout dates. Check the provider’s current room terms, transport schedule, cancellation terms and entry rules. Hotel availability, restaurant service and event transport can change.
