Metro B Line to Hollywood/Highland, then the free Ovation ShuttleHollywoodtransit
Getting there
Buy a GoMetro Round-Trip Pass with your concert tickets (added at checkout and loaded to Apple or Google Wallet like a ticket), or use a TAP card. Take the B Line to Hollywood/Highland Station, then show your GoMetro pass or valid TAP card to ride the Ovation Shuttle to the Bowl at no extra cost.
Getting back
Take the same free Ovation Shuttle connection back to Hollywood/Highland Station, then the B Line. No last departure time for this connection is published.

Metro's LAX page says to ride the C Line or K Line to the LAX/Metro Transit Center, but no official page gives the further transfers or total time from LAX to Hollywood/Highland. TAP cards and GoMetro passes aren't accepted on Metrolink trains.

Board Line 671 at Ovation Hollywood, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, in the same complex as the Loews Hollywood Hotel. Shuttles leave continuously from 2.5 hours before the concert, and the last shuttle leaves each lot at concert time.
Getting back
Buses drop off and leave from the top of Lot B at the Bowl. Return buses begin leaving about 20 minutes after the concert ends; no last departure time is published.

For LA Phil events the fare is $9 round-trip, in advance or on the day by cash or card, and the ride is free with a valid Metro TAP card or a Metrolink ticket used within the past two hours. Parking in the Ovation Hollywood garage is $3 for up to 2 hours with validation, then $1 for every 15 minutes; the Bowl's Park & Ride page gives a $20 daily maximum and its lot-locations page gives $25.

For LA Phil events the fare is $9 round-trip, and the ride is free with a valid Metro TAP card. Parking in this lot is free, subject to stacked parking.

Direct your rideshare to 6655 Odin St. for drop-off, entering from northbound Highland Avenue or westbound Odin Street.
Getting back
Leaving the Bowl's main gates, follow the purple directional lights down Pepper Tree Lane through the pedestrian tunnel to Lot C (Purple). To avoid longer waits and surge pricing, the Bowl suggests taking a free shuttle from Lot B to Ovation Hollywood and requesting your ride there.

Post-concert pickup in Lot C can take 45 to 90 minutes. An accessible shuttle connects Lot C to the Box Office Plaza before the show and back after it, for guests who need it.

Parking is extremely limited and may sell out in advance. The Bowl asks you not to park in the surrounding neighborhoods, where you could get a costly parking ticket.

Doors and arrival

The Bowl's FAQ says gates open two hours before a concert starts. Its Getting Here page recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before the performance, and its house rules recommend reaching the gates at least 30 minutes before the event start time for security screening. Parking lots open three hours before each event, and the Bowl Shuttle starts 2.5 hours before the concert.

Bowl Shuttle and Park & Ride return buses begin leaving about 20 minutes after the concert ends; no last departure time is published.

Rideshare pickup is in Lot C, through the Pepper Tree Lane pedestrian tunnel, and can take 45 to 90 minutes. The Bowl suggests taking the free shuttle from Lot B to Ovation Hollywood and requesting your ride there instead.

All parking lots are stack-parked with no early exit. No exit map or typical clearing time is published.

Parking

Lot A (Blue) is $90 valet or $55 stacked; Lot D (Yellow) is $45 for LA Phil-presented events and $55 for Lease Events. Lot B (Green) is the Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle hub, with accessible-only parking, and Lot C (Purple) is for rideshare only. Motorcycles are $10 in Lots B and D, night-of only. The Bowl asks you not to park in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Bags

Bags don't need to be clear but must fit under your seat and measure no more than 15 inches wide, 15 inches high or 22 inches long. Containers, picnic baskets and coolers larger than that aren't allowed past the ticket gates. Security screening and metal detectors are used at every show, and the Bowl doesn't store prohibited items.

At Hollywood Bowl

No published walking route

The Bowl's Getting Here page covers driving, transit, rideshare and the Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle. The venue publishes no walking route, even from the closest hotel in this guide, about 0.6 km away in a straight line, and Highland Avenue climbs a steep hill toward the venue. Treat the Bowl as a rideshare, drive or shuttle away.

Picnics, wine and prohibited items

You can bring your own food, wine and beer to LA Phil-presented events; Lease Events allow no outside alcohol, and non-alcoholic drinks there must be in factory-sealed plastic bottles of one liter or less. Picnic baskets, containers and coolers follow the bag size limit. Prohibited items include cameras with detachable or extended lenses, selfie sticks, recording devices, umbrellas, tablets, laptops and chairs, and the Bowl doesn't store prohibited items.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking is in Lots A and B and needs a valid state-issued ADA placard or plate. The Bowl's pages differ on the price: the parking page lists $55 for accessible parking in Lot B, while the accessibility page lists $45 for LA Phil-produced events and $55 for Lease Events in Lots A and B.

Box office

The box office is in the Plaza outside the Main Gate at 2301 North Highland Avenue. Its regular hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 12–6 p.m., closed Mondays; on concert evenings after July 29, it stays open until 30 minutes after the scheduled concert start time.
